Description
RP-L resistive pressure sensor is a flexible thin film sensor whose resistance value decreases as the pressure applied to the sensing region increases. A single-sensing sensor is equivalent to a dual-port variable resistor whose resistance value is controlled by pressure, and is also equivalent to a switch with a certain threshold value, which is determined by the pressure and device parameter Settings. The RP-L flexible film pressure sensitive sensor is composed of polyester film, highly conductive material and nanoscale pressure sensitive material with excellent mechanical properties. The top layer is a flexible film and a pressure sensitive layer compounded on top, and the bottom layer is a flexible film and a conductive line compounded on top. The two are bonded by double-sided tape and isolate the sensing area. When the sensing area is pressurized, the lines disconnected from each other at the bottom layer will be routed through the top layer of the pressure sensitive layer, and the resistance output value of the port changes with the pressure.
