Multi-Dimensional Force Sensor

 

The Multi-Dimensionalforce sensor is based on the strain type weighing sensor and adopts the resistance strain type principle. It is also called the strain type three-dimensional force sensor.

 

The weight of the object being weighed on Multi-Dimensionalforce sensor acts on the elastic element, causing it to deform and generate strain. The resistance strain gauge attached to the elastic element converts the strain proportional to the weight of the object into a resistance change, and then converts the resistance change into a voltage output through a Wheatstone bridge circuit. The measurement and measurement tasks can be completed by measuring the voltage output value through the display instrument. The three-dimensional force sensor can simultaneously detect three force information (Fx, Fy, Fz) in three-dimensional space.

 

There are two types of three-dimensional finger force sensors: side-mounted and top-mounted. Side-mounted three-dimensional finger force sensors are generally used for two-finger robot grippers, and top-mounted three-dimensional finger force sensors are generally used for robot multi-finger dexterous hands.
